I am from Mumbai, India and have a Gunther Tulip retrievable IVC filter implanted in March 2008. I met my doctor who had put the filter but he disappointed me by saying that the filter now cannot be removed. I read on the Internet about Dr William Kuo from Stanford Hospital and Dr Frank Lynch [http://www.pennstatehershey.org/home/], they are of the opinion that any filter after any amount of dwelling time can be removed. Please let me know if there any doctors in India who can remove my IVC filter. Thanks Khalid Hamza 9833215446
