I was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia at the age of 16. I had chemotherapy w/no radiation as a treatment. Exactly 30 years later I have been diagnosed with breast cancer. There is no family history of breast cancer or leukemia. I am curious to know if the chemo treatment for ALL had a significant impact on my recent development of breast cancer. I am also curious to know if the chemo to treat my breast cancer will have an impact on my already weakened bone marrow. Statistics show that I may develop yet a third cancer in my lifetime. I wonder?
