The Forest land Issue in Mumbai, Mulund has taken its toll on lacs of people who have purchased homes in areas that have now been deemed as forest area. 1] The SC should quickly constitute a 3-member bench and provide a quick and fair justice on the Forest Land Issue. this issue has been dragging for 5 years now with no end in sight. 2) The State govt, MOEF and BMC should work in tandem in clearing and approving projects for construction and not suddenly declare areas as forest land areas thereby cheating common man of his earnings and home.
