For those who choose to eat grilled meat, marinating meats is also helpful. Marinating meats for at least 40 minutes prior to grilling can reduce the production of heterocyclic amines by 90 percent. I appreciate your suggestion to grill veges. This is a great way to enjoy the taste of the grill without the risk, and helps those trying to eat the five to nine servings of veges and fruits per day that lowers the risk of cancer.
