I just got a new glucometer (the one-touch mini) and it reads 24 points HIGHER than my other meter (freestyle freedom lite) using the same blood sample. How do I know which is more accurate???

You should look at Glycemic Index of foods, this index tells you how foods affect your blood sugar. I would suggest you limit your carb intake as well. Eating low carb can really help your fasting blood sugar.
