Diabetes is increased blood sugar level.How come release of sugar from liver be a treatment for diabetes it is going to add on to sugar level.Please i request you to send me a mail clarifying my doubt

Just speculation, but I think what they're saying is that the glucose in blood may not be the result of direct digestion, but rather is extracted from food and stored, then released? At least some or all of it anyways, so by reducing or eliminating glucose produced by the liver you can reduce a diabetic's blood sugar to acceptable levels without insulin? It sounds more like this would prevent hyperglycemia than treat diabetes, since we'd still need insulin regardless.
