After a tonsilectomy around 1954 a doctor said I had been in a 'brief' coma. Mother recalled this to me often and suggested I had not fully recovered. Twice now, once about fifteen years ago and now in the past few days, I've had events of significant recovery from the event. Recovery involved going carefully through my memory of the event and recalling what was real and true, even fear, hurt and pain. Reality gradually returned in these two events. Today memory and reality are coming into phase. That brings confidence I've completely recovered or nearly so. Keep on trucking!

yes, i've had my memories come back in chunks, years in between each other, and just blow me away - all three times were caused by a song from my past which associated with that memory chunk from my life.
full recovery is hard to define, since we change and grow as we get older, we are not the same person as before the coma anyway! but do we get the mental prowress we once had? This, is my continuing question and leads my continuous search for an answer...

Dear Sirs,
I am R.Rama chandran, aged 56 who is doing research on Vedas, Mantras and its applications.
This day, I read thro “Kalai Kadhir” a monthly magazine in Tamil about a patient in coma and many more.
There is a cure for these COMA patients. That is nothing but the environmental Circumferences.
I am sure you are keeping the patient in an A/c room and giving medicines kept in Fridges.
I am having an answer for this Coma, will you listen to me?
American way of research on Vedas gave a wrong side and my research has showed this and I am likely to submit my PH.D thesis on Vedas with Sri Chandrasekhar Saraswati University at Enathur, Kancheepuram near Chennai.
I am ready for a discussion on line or thro web cam.
Regards
Rama chandran

Kindly advice me what to do...
My father has traumatised brain injury since 31/9/2007 and he is in
coma now and we moved him to home since 3 weeks. He is in vegetation
stage now and his coma scale might be 8-9 according to Glasco scaling.
Since 2 days we brought him a healer to do energy healing for him and
he opened his Chakra and they are responsive. Doctors said that he has
4 to 6 months to wake up or otherwise he will remain like this until
his death.

what woke me up from my coma, was an audio tape my friends made for me, they played it for me all day long - and when i woke up, those people, that content on that tape, was the strongest thing in my mind, connecting me to most everything else in my life - which would otherwise have been lost. MAKE A TAPE, WITH PEOPLE HE LOVES TALKING ON IT!

I was in a come for over a month. I could hear but was not responsive at all. Talk loud to him,Play loud music, Try to wake him up. massage his body.tell him something that would have made him get up.Like " Get up you have to..."
