Yeah, the US has a huge problem with this too. Unfortunately our stupid healthcare system chooses to ignore the problem by either refusing funding for enough treatment or refusing treatment for eating disorders entirely. They also allow the media to proliferate billions of ad campaigns that have unhealthy body images of celebrities (which are ALWAYS airbrushed, I must add), diet scams, and other products that are designed to make people feel bad about themselves so they'll want to buy more products to "fix" themselves. It will be a miracle if we can ever stop these practices! I would love to see a world where we are all taught to love and appreciate ourselves and our body size differences.
