Chest Pain

Chest pain is considered a medical emergency, and it can be a symptom of serious problems with the heart or (more rarely) the lung. Sometimes, it can also be caused by digestive disorders. Pain along with a squeezing feeling in the chest and pain in the left arm, or the left side of the neck or jaw, is always a sign of trouble with the heart and needs immediate medical attention.

Chest pain-deadly???

Hi

I want to share this sad news .One of my neighbors who has been an hypertensive and on anti hypertensive medication suddenly developed chest pain. he was immediately rushed to hospital but the ECG showed normal phenomenon and he was discharged by saying that the chest pain was due to gastric upset. His chest pain subsided and he returned home. The following morning he got up and suddenly became breathless and collapsed all in a matter of few minutes and he passed away. What could be the possible reason. He was diagnosed later as having a silent heart attack. Is this possible?
