Is there a scientific study on a certain type of mangrove swamp snail which was use by the locals of Panay Island Philippines in the treatment of pain?
This snail is black with a cone-shape body. It was bitter in taste as if it has toxin inside its body. The folks in the island used it as treatments for pain by directly ingesting it as food and dish. Bagungon is the local term for this.
