Hair loss from meds?

How do I counter hair thinning from amphetamines?

I recently was diagnosed with ADHD. I am a 26yo male.

No thinning nor hair loss until now. Yes, I shed hair.

I shed like crazy 2 days after first starting adderall xr.

Now, I am on dexedrine.

Vyvanse, Adderall, and ritalin all increased hair loss.

I believe ritalin and dexedrine have less hair effects than the other two.

I want my hair to grow back... but also desperately need to finish university.

Please help me, anyone that has experience with this.

I have not lost hair before this. I still have pretty good hair, but the parts are wider. Taking photos with a flash, in the washroom shows a lot of hair loss. Also, the first time I took adderall for about 8 days/ 2 weeks, it took about 7 weeks to grow out my hair. My hair USUALLY grows much faster than this.

Please help me if you can.

Thank you!
