Kiran is quite correct. The indiscriminate prescription of allopathic drugs is the real danger and science quacks such as Ernst, who studiously ignores overwhelming evidence in favor of Homeopathy are part of a long series of media attacks bordering on hysteria that have been going on for quite some time and which many of us who KNOW that Homeopathy works and works well are finding rather tiresome.

Bad .That is the only comment. I am using homeopathy and other pathy like acupuncture for last thirty years and our family has has almost never took any allopathy medicines which are so dangerously prescribed. First of all there must be a strict control on use of allopathy and the doctors using it. Low qualified people explain the use of medicienes to the GPs who are not aware and nither the person with a tie knows what side effects are behind those medicines. A gift pack and a foreign tour is also given for the doctor who prscribes their medicines. So who are these people who are commenting on homeopathy. First of all they should prove with controlled trials that they exist.

A small but important correction to this article - Edzard Ernst was the first but is not "the world's only professor of complementary medicine" - in the UK alone there are four other Professors in this field. He is, however, the most vocal and the only anti.
