Allergic rhinitis is a common condition especially in the tropics. This is characterized by recurrent sneezing, running nose and ulcerations in the nasal mucosa. The underlying problem is that the person is allergic to a certain substancs. Even though treatment is usually symptomatic, identifying and eliminating the the allergen is important in preventing recurrences.
