Acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS), caused by the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV), is a disease which destroys the immune system and makes the affected person vulnerable to opportunistic infections and tumors. There is no cure for AIDS, but modern multi-drug therapies have been successful in helping people with AIDS manage the disease.

HIV

HELLO FRIENDS,

These are some of the symptoms of the HIV. Please note that the only way to make sure whether you have HIV or AIDS is testing for HIV and it's infection. Please don't rely entirely on HIV symptoms to know whether or not you are infected with disease. There is a possibility that you don't show any of the HIV symptoms but can still be infected with HIV/AIDS.

5. Just to summarize, following are the main HIV symptoms:
6. Rapid weight loss
7. Dry cough
8. Recurring fever or profuse night sweats
9. Profound and unexplained fatigue
10.Swollen lymph glands in the armpits, groin, or neck
11.Diarrhea that lasts for more than a week
12.White spots or unusual blemishes on the tongue, in the mouth, or in the throat
13. Red, brown, pink, or purplish blotches on or under the skin or inside the mouth, nose, or eyelids
14. Memory loss, depression, and other neurological disorders
