The other day, my husband and I were driving down the fast 8-lane Noida expressway. Another car suddenly overtook us, grazing our new MUV. We stopped by the side of the road and gesticulated to the driver of the other car to stop. He scowled and reluctantly brought his car to a halt. It is a dangerous expression and can have lethal outcomes - the punishments should be high and the points on the license should be added to make this a deterrent. The western countries have overcome this to some extent. In India the law and order is so inadequate and corrupt that we fail to implement a few simple rules and regulations.
