Since you are able to lose weight but it comes back it means your main problem is more of weight maintenance rather than weightloss. So instead of going on fruit and veg diet/crash diets off and on you need to bring long term changes in your eating pattern. This can be achieved by following regular exercise and making some dietary changes like reducing your portion size and replacing usual foods like chips/white bread/cookies with healthy foods like roasted snacks i.e murmuras, roasted chanas/brown bread/digestive biscuit etc. Switch to low fat dairy and cut down on sweets and fats. Try to include more fruits and veggies in the diet and finish your dinner before 8pm. Only fruits and salad diet can be done once a week to detoxify your body.Eat smaller and more frequent meals to avoid overeating.
