There is no specific diet regime to be followed if affected by chikungunya. If due to the fever you are not able to consume the regular diet, try soft solid diet like bread, idli, curd rice etc. Take plenty of fluids as you are likely to be dehydrated due to fever. It may take about 2-3 weeks to return to normal, however sometimes joints pains may persist. If you are travelling within the country than you can do so as and when you fell physicaly fit.
